About this document This policy describes the FreshDMart demonstration website and its current features. It is general information, not legal advice. Before using FreshDMart in production, the operator should have this document reviewed and adapted to its business, location, and applicable law.
01Scope and current service status
This policy applies to the FreshDMart website and its demonstration marketplace pages. The current site uses sample content and does not provide production account, messaging, inquiry, quotation, or transaction processing.
Forms labeled as demonstrations validate information in your browser only. The site code does not send their entered form values to FreshDMart or save them as a submitted message. Do not enter real passwords, payment information, sensitive personal information, or confidential business details in those forms.
02Information that may be processed
When you browse the site, your browser necessarily communicates technical information to deliver pages and assets. Depending on the hosting and deployment configuration, this may include an IP address, requested URL, date and time, browser and device details, and security or error information in server logs.
Search terms are sent to the site’s catalog endpoints to filter sample product, supplier, and buying-request data. The current front-end does not use browser local storage or session storage to retain these searches.
03Forms and account information
The contact, login, registration, inquiry, newsletter, and password screens are demonstration interfaces. Form validation happens in the browser; it does not create an account, send an email, subscribe you to a list, or deliver an inquiry in this demonstration.
Do not interpret a successful validation message as confirmation that FreshDMart received or processed the information. Account and message processing would require a separately implemented service and an updated privacy notice.
04Purposes and legal basis
Technical request information may be used by the hosting operator to deliver the site, maintain security, diagnose errors, and prevent abuse. Search terms are used to return relevant sample catalog results. The operator should document the actual hosting, logging, and legal-basis practices before operating this site as a production service.
07Retention and security
Because production form submissions and user accounts are not connected in this demo, FreshDMart does not retain those values as submitted records through these interfaces. Technical request logs, if enabled by the hosting environment, may be retained by that environment according to its configuration.
No internet transmission or storage method is perfectly secure. The operator should configure access controls, secure transport, retention periods, backups, and incident-response procedures appropriate to the production service.
08Your privacy rights
Privacy rights depend on the laws that apply to you and the operator. They may include rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of personal information, and to complain to a regulator. The operator should provide a functioning channel and response process before collecting personal information in production.
The Contact page form currently does not transmit messages. Do not use it to submit a rights request and assume it has been received; a working privacy contact channel must be published before launch.
09Children
FreshDMart is intended for business users and is not designed for children. The operator does not knowingly seek personal information from children through this demonstration website.
10International visitors and transfers
FreshDMart is accessible over the internet and may be used from different countries. Hosting and third-party asset requests may involve processing in locations outside your country. The operator should identify transfer locations and put any legally required safeguards in place before production use.
11Policy updates and contact
This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the site or its data practices. The effective date at the top identifies the version currently displayed.
For privacy questions, the operator should provide a monitored contact channel. The Contact page form is currently a demo and does not deliver messages.
